We are currently supporting a leading international group as they look to hire an experienced Operations Director with experience of multi-venue leadership in the Hotels, Leisure, or Hospitality industry.
Our client is a multi-billion Euro organisation with business operations across the world. They are now looking for an Operations Director to join their Northern Germany based entity. The role will involve leading the operations across several hospitality venues within Germany, with approximately 500 employees.
Key responsibilities
- Management of day-to-day operations of multiple venues - leading the management teams within them
- Product, personnel and marketing planning in coordination with the relevant central departments
- Management and development of site management teams in day-to-day operations
- Full P&L and budget responsibility for the operational sites in Germany
- Responsibility for implementing corporate guidelines in operations
- Management of projects within operations
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must have experience of leading multi-site operations within either Hotels, Hospitality or Leisure. You will be capable of being hands on, provide exceptional leadership and display a highly driven and forward-thinking mindset.
- A degree in business studies or a comparable qualification
- Substantial experience in leading and managing senior staff
- Professional experience in the hotels, hospitality or leisure industries
- Proven track record in multi-site operational leadership
- Good command of English and Fluent German
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Entrepreneurial mindset and approach
- Confident and professional communication with staff and guests
- Willingness to travel
- Analytical skills
