About the Role:

BondAI is building an advanced AI platform that helps trade shows and conferences run smarter, more efficient Hosted Buyer and meeting programs. We’re developing new tools that support everything from buyer sourcing and qualification to meeting scheduling, supplier matching, logistics coordination, and post-event feedback collection - and we’re looking for a Director of Meetings & Event Programs to help shape how these products function in real-world environments.

This is a leadership role for someone with deep, hands-on experience running meetings, events, or buyer-facing programs, including Hosted Buyer, pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings, or exhibitor–attendee matching programs at mid-to-large B2B trade shows or conferences.

What you will do:

  • Lead the development of workflows and processes for BondAI’s Hosted Buyer and meeting-program engine
  • Translate real-world Hosted Buyer operations into clear product requirements
  • Define best practices for buyer sourcing, vetting, qualification criteria, and approval workflows
  • Map the end-to-end cycle: recruitment → qualification → scheduling → on-site execution → reporting
  • Collaborate closely with founders and engineers to shape and iterate product features
  • Evaluate tools currently used across the industry (Grip, Jublia, Swoogo, ExpoPlatform, RainFocus, etc.) and identify gaps
  • Design a scalable operational framework that event organizers can adopt without heavy onboarding
  • Ensure the platform reflects the realities of supplier expectations, buyer incentives, no-show mitigation, and on-site logistics
  • Bring hands-on operational insight to help us build the most efficient Hosted Buyer system in the market

Requirments:

  • 5-10+ years in Meetings, Events, Trade Shows, or Corporate Travel operations
  • Direct experience managing Hosted Buyer programs, buyer programs, 1:1 meetings, or exhibitor–attendee matchmaking
  • Strong understanding of event-tech platforms (Grip, Swoogo, ExpoPlatform, RainFocus, Cvent, Jublia, etc.)
  • Ability to define workflows, map processes, and articulate operational requirements clearly
  • Deep familiarity with buyer qualification, criteria setting, no-show management, and supplier expectations
  • Experience coordinating with sales, exhibitors, suppliers, agencies, and third-party planners
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to move fast, iterate, and work closely with technical teams
  • Passion for shaping how next-generation Hosted Buyer tools are built using AI
