We are now recruiting a Director of Manufacturing, Patient Care Europe — a strategic leadership role responsible for building and scaling a modern, high‑quality, and efficient manufacturing network across Europe. The position can be based in either Sweden or France. You will play a key role in shaping the future organization, and report directly to the Vice President, Patient Care Europe.
Your role
As Director of Manufacturing, you will drive the development and execution of ForMotion’s European manufacturing strategy. You will build a scalable operating model covering Central Manufacturing, Local Manufacturing and Outsourced Manufacturing, ensuring excellence in quality, efficiency, and delivery across all European markets.

Your Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & Operating Model
- Define and execute the European manufacturing strategy in alignment with business goals and the Patient Care Europe growth agenda
- Establish a scalable, harmonized operating model across all manufacturing locations
- Drive standardization, process efficiency, and continuous improvement across manufacturing sites
- Lead production planning to ensure reliable delivery performance
- Implement new production technologies, including 3D printing and other future manufacturing methods
- Lead and develop teams across multiple countries and cultural environments
- Foster capability-building, collaboration, and high-performance behaviors
- Ensure strong focus on quality, HSE, sustainability, and risk management in all production activities
- Monitor and report on manufacturing performance and KPIs at regional and site level
- Partner closely with clinical operations, supply chain, sourcing, business operations, and external partners to optimize manufacturing outcomes
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that strengthen production capabilities and support business growth
- Higher education in a relevant field (engineering, production management, operations, or similar)
- Proven experience leading manufacturing operations at a multi-country or European level
- Strong understanding of production machinery, modern manufacturing technologies, and process optimization
- Excellent communication skills in English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Experience from the O&P industry is meritorious
