This role sits within Pixel Events, the parent platform behind Future Proof, RetailClub, ETF.com, and Safeguard. You’ll lead RetailClub and support large-scale franchises across our multi-event portfolio. We’re looking for someone who can help us build the next generation of modern, high-impact events across multiple industries


Who We Are

Pixel Events is building the modern event platform. We own and operate some of the fastest-growing event franchises in the country including Future Proof, RetailClub, ETF.com, and Safeguard, and we’re scaling a system that brings live events, technology, creative services, and data together under one roof. Pixel leadership includes the founders of industry leading events such as Future Proof, Money20/20, and Shoptalk, who are now building the next wave of modern, best-in-class events. 


We don’t just build events and conferences. We’re building an entirely new standard for how people meet, learn, and do business through event experiences.


The Role

We’re looking for an Event Director to work directly with the founding teams to run the operational heartbeat of Pixel Events. This role is for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and doing the work, not just someone who builds strategy for others to execute.


You’ll bring previous event experience, and we’ll teach you all the Pixel-specific things you need to know to be successful in this role (for example, working with city leadership to get permits approved etc). 


You’ll work on planning, infrastructure, logistics, vendor management, permitting, timelines, budgets, and on-site execution for RetailClub and other Pixel event franchises. You’ll work across technology, fabrication, marketing, content, sales, and sponsorship to bring every piece together.


This role works directly with Pixel’s leadership team, so you’ll work individually but also as part of a team that’s building phenomenal events.  


What You’ll Do


Planning and execution

  • Drive all operational planning, production schedules, and timelines
  • Manage event layouts, infrastructure, sponsor build-outs, AV, F&B, signage, décor, security, and staffing


Manage budgets and vendors

  • Build and manage detailed event budgets
  • Conduct site-visits, run RFPs, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor and venue relationships


Work across Pixel

  • Serve as a core operator for RetailClub and support all Pixel event franchises
  • Support sales with timelines, requirements, and operational clarity
  • Support content teams with speaker management and at-event content production


Run staffing and operations

  • Build staffing plans and manage temps, contractors, and support teams
  • Produce production plan, run-of-show documents, and operational guides
  • Oversee safety plans, insurance, permits, and compliance
  • Liaise with city officials and other key stakeholders


Lead and develop the team

  • Manage and mentor the operations and logistics team
  • Maintain and improve processes for speaker ops, sponsor ops, signage production, vendor onboarding, and internal coordination
