Director of Corporate Development
We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Development Leader to join a dynamic, high-growth European-headquartered technology business.
Backed by a leading Private Equity fund, the business is seeking an experienced M&A leader to drive the acquisitive growth of this organisation.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Group CEO, the Corporate Development Leader will be at the forefront of identifying, evaluating, and executing M&A opportunities that align with our ambitious growth strategy. This is a high-impact role with direct influence on the future shape of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and manage a robust pipeline of strategic acquisition opportunities across Europe and beyond.
- Lead the end-to-end M&A process—from market mapping, deal sourcing, valuation and negotiation to due diligence and integration.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, the Private Equity sponsor, and external advisors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with founders, investment bankers, and other intermediaries.
- Deliver compelling strategic and financial rationale for each opportunity, aligned with long-term business objectives.
- Support post-acquisition integration to ensure value delivery and operational synergies.
About You:
- Proven track record of successful M&A execution within a fast-paced commercial environment, ideally in the digital/ technology sector.
- 15 years’ experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy consulting.
- Deep commercial acumen with the ability to assess strategic fit and value creation potential.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with executive presence and confidence to engage at C-suite and Board level.
- Agile, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a private equity-backed environment.
