Job Summary

The Director of Corporate Communications is responsible for defining and leading HBX Group’s global corporate communications and industry relations strategy, ensuring a clear, consistent, and compelling narrative that strengthens the Group’s reputation, visibility, and influence across all key markets.

Operating at a senior leadership level, this role plays a critical part in supporting a listed company environment, partnering closely with Executive Committee members and key stakeholders across Communications, Investor Relations, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams. The Director of Corporate Communications will shape external positioning around corporate strategy, financial performance, technology and AI innovation, and long‑term value creation.

This role requires strong judgement, financial literacy, and the ability to lead high‑impact communications in both proactive and high‑risk situations, ensuring trust, credibility, and resilience in a highly scrutinized public environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute HBX Group’s global external corporate communications strategy, aligned with business priorities and long‑term growth objectives
  • Lead and oversee media relations and press engagement, positioning HBX Group and its brands with global, regional, trade, financial, and technology media
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with media, industry influencers, and key external stakeholders
  • Act as a senior advisor to executive leadership, providing guidance on corporate positioning, messaging, and reputation management
  • Support communications related to financial results, earnings narratives, strategic announcements, and regulatory disclosures, in close partnership with Investor Relations, Finance, and Legal
  • Lead crisis and issues communications, offering calm, clear, and timely counsel during sensitive or high‑risk situations
  • Ensure disciplined, consistent messaging across corporate, financial, strategic, and reputational moments
  • Strengthen executive and leadership visibility through media engagement, thought leadership, and speaking opportunities
  • Own and evolve external and corporate social media strategies, enhancing corporate profile, credibility, and influence
  • Use data, research, and insights to evaluate impact and continuously improve communications effectiveness
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing corporate communications team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and excellence


Skills, Experience & Qualifications

Leadership & Strategic Capability

  • Proven ability to operate as a trusted advisor to senior executives and leadership teams
  • Strong strategic judgement with the ability to translate complex business, financial, and technological topics into clear external narratives
  • Confident decision‑maker with autonomy to lead initiatives independently and accountability for outcomes
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and align senior stakeholders constructively


Corporate Communications & Reputation Management

  • 10+ years’ experience in global corporate communications, PR, and/or corporate affairs, ideally within B2B, technology‑led, or publicly listed companies
  • Demonstrated leadership of global communications strategies, including media relations, executive positioning, and reputation management
  • Strong track record of securing Tier‑1 media coverage and delivering measurable communications impact
  • Proven experience managing crisis, issues, and high‑risk communications in complex environments
  • Deep understanding of corporate reputation management within a listed or regulated business context


Financial Literacy & Listed Company Exposure

  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to understand and communicate:
  • Financial performance, earnings narratives, and key value drivers
  • Market expectations, investor sentiment, and reputational implications
  • Regulatory and disclosure sensitivities
  • Experience partnering closely with Investor Relations, Finance, and Legal teams
  • Ability to contribute meaningfully to narratives around growth strategy, innovation, and long‑term value creation


Media, Digital & Executive Visibility

  • Extensive experience managing relationships with international, regional, trade, and financial media
  • Proven capability to elevate executive and leadership visibility through media, thought leadership, and public engagement
  • Hands‑on experience shaping and delivering corporate and executive social media strategies
  • Data‑driven mindset, leveraging insights and analytics to inform communications decisions

Language Requirements

  • Fluent English and Spanish (bilingual) – mandatory
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages
