Company Overview
CDC is partnering with a global drug discovery CRO with established operations in India and the USA. Following a recent organisational restructure, the company is accelerating growth across its small-molecule drug discovery services in Europe. Recently, they have launched a new platform to advance biologics manufacturing, expanded their biologics capabilities and facilities, and announced strategic partnerships with leading pharma companies supporting small-molecule programmes.
Responsibilities
- Own and execute the business development strategy across DACH and Benelux.
- Identify, target, and win new biotech and pharma customers.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Lead the full deal lifecycle from prospecting through contract close.
- Represent the company at conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Requirements
- Degree in Chemistry or a related Life Sciences discipline.
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in business development within drug discovery or CRO services.
- Proven track record managing the entire sales cycle.
- Strong network within European biotech and pharma.
- Solid understanding of drug discovery, particularly small-molecule services (e.g. medicinal chemistry, synthetic chemistry).
- Willingness to travel 30–50% across the region.
