We’re looking for a Director of Brand Marketing who knows how to make a company stand out.
We want someone who can help shape how enso shows up in the world. Someone who can take what we’re building, understand what makes it interesting, and turn that into a brand people actually remember.
This role is for a creative person with strong judgment. Someone who knows how to tell a story, spot a good idea, and raise the quality bar across everything we put out. Website, campaigns, launches, content, messaging, social, visuals, and the overall feel of the company. You should care about the details, but also understand the bigger picture.
At enso, brand is not a side project. It matters because people decide how credible, interesting, and different a company is long before they fully understand the product. We want someone who can help build that feeling in a real way.
You’ll work closely with the founders and with different teams across the company to shape our voice, develop campaigns, improve our storytelling, and make sure the brand feels clear, consistent, and worth paying attention to. Some of this is strategy. Some of it is writing. Some of it is creative direction. A lot of it is taste and judgment.
We care a lot about creativity, but not the fake kind. We do not want someone who hides average ideas behind trendy language. We want someone with real ideas, a clear point of view, and the ability to turn that into work that feels fresh and strong.
Please do not just send a CV ONLY. Send work. Show us campaigns you led, brands you helped shape, launches you created, pages you improved, writing you’re proud of, content that performed, or anything else that shows how you think and what your standards are. A portfolio is great. A deck is great. A PDF, Notion page, Figma file, or a small collection of links is also great. We care much more about the quality of your work than the format.
What you’ll actually do
You will own brand marketing at enso and help define how the company presents itself across every major touchpoint. That includes brand strategy, messaging, campaigns, launches, content direction, social presence, website storytelling, and creative development. You will work closely with leadership, design, growth, product, and external creative partners when needed.
You will be expected to build and maintain a clear brand voice, create strong campaign ideas, improve the quality of our messaging, and develop creative systems that help the company scale without sounding generic. You should be comfortable moving between high-level thinking and hands-on execution.
You will also help lead major brand moments, including product launches, company announcements, thought leadership, partnerships, and other initiatives that shape how the market sees enso. Part of the job is making sure the company does not drift into bland, safe, forgettable marketing.
What we’re looking for
You likely have meaningful experience in brand marketing, creative strategy, content, or a related role inside a startup, creative agency, media company, or fast-moving tech business. You have strong writing and storytelling skills, a good eye for creative quality, and the ability to turn broad ideas into clear, strong execution.
You should understand how to work across teams, manage multiple projects, and keep quality high without slowing everything down. You should be comfortable giving feedback, pushing for better work, and making decisions with confidence.
It is important that you can show real examples of strong creative or brand work. We are especially interested in people who have helped build a distinctive brand, improved company narrative, launched memorable campaigns, or made B2B marketing feel more original and alive.
What will help you stand out
Experience building a brand in an early-stage or high-growth startup will help. Strong instincts around design, internet culture, and content will help. The ability to combine strategic thinking with speed and execution will help even more.
Most of all, what will help you stand out is evidence. Show us work that proves you know how to make a company more interesting, more clear, and more memorable.
How to apply
- Please send your resume together with examples of your work. This can be a portfolio, presentation, writing samples, campaigns, brand projects, social work, launch materials, or any other evidence that helps us understand your thinking and standards.
