As Director of IT Security, you will be responsible for leading the organization's cybersecurity strategy while ensuring secure and resilient IT operations. This role blends technical leadership with business alignment, focusing on safeguarding enterprise systems, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS applications. You will oversee the implementation of security programs, risk assessments, and compliance initiatives, while collaborating across teams to drive security awareness and operational excellence. Your work will include system administration, cloud management, and process optimization, ensuring technology solutions support business objectives. Operating in a fully remote environment, you will have a direct impact on both IT security posture and organizational efficiency.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive information security programs, policies, and standards
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and security reviews of internal systems and third-party tools
  • Lead incident response activities and collaborate with external partners to investigate and resolve threats
  • Administer enterprise systems, including M365, Azure, AWS, SaaS applications, Windows, and macOS environments
  • Develop and maintain Identity and Access Management (IAM) processes, including RBAC and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations
  • Lead IT projects, document workflows, and provide end-user training on security practices and system usage
  • Support audits, compliance initiatives, and maintain detailed security and operational documentation


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in IT system administration and/or cybersecurity leadership roles
  • Expert-level knowledge of M365, Intune, Microsoft Entra, Azure, and AWS administration
  • Strong proficiency in Windows and macOS system administration, PowerShell scripting, and cloud services management
  • Solid understanding of security tools, risk management, and incident response procedures
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, capable of translating technical concepts to business stakeholders
  • Adaptability to evolving threat landscapes and regulatory requirements
  • Proven experience leading IT security projects, managing teams, and implementing security programs
