Role Overview
The Director, Global Partnerships, is the strategic revenue leader for CIG. You will take charge of all global sponsorship and partnership sales, build a world-class pipeline, pitch major brands, negotiate multi-year agreements, and shape CIG’s commercial expansion across multiple international markets. This role blends sports commercial strategy, high-value sales, partnership design, and premium creative thinking. You will play a pivotal role in scaling CIG’s presence across the U.S., Caribbean, and broader cricket ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Strategic Leadership
- Drive CIG’s full commercial strategy day-to-day, shaping revenue pathways and ensuring each property is positioned for scalable long-term growth.
- Actively build and launch new revenue streams across global/domestic partnerships, media rights, licensing, branded content, hospitality assets, and emerging digital platforms.
- Create investment-ready business cases for CISE, BCB, and future CIG IP using real-time insights, audience analytics, and global cricket trends.
- Lead ROI modelling and commercial positioning to articulate economic impact, partner return, and long-term valuation across all assets.
- Continuously identify new markets, sectors, and categories, expanding CIG’s commercial footprint internationally.
2. Partnership Sales & Revenue Generation
- Own the full partnership sales lifecycle: prospecting, outreach, pitching, negotiation, and closing.
- Build and manage a personal pipeline supporting $1M+ in new annual revenue.
- Secure multi-year, multi-property partnerships across CISE, BCB, content, livestreaming, and hospitality experiences.
- Develop tailored, premium sponsorship packages spanning experiential, digital, CSR, and audience engagement assets.
- Build senior-level relationships with brands, agencies, tourism bodies, sports organizations, and cricket entities worldwide.
3. Proposal Development & Creative Collaboration
- Partner with MarComm to create world-class proposals and pitch decks.
- Transform partner objectives into compelling commercial concepts rooted in reach, culture, social impact, and experiential value.
- Contribute to pricing frameworks, category exclusivity strategies, and sponsorship tier design.
- Uphold premium creative standards across all sales materials.
4. Relationship Management & Client Success
- Serve as the strategic point of contact for key commercial partners.
- Maintain high-touch, value-driven communication with brand leaders and decision-makers.
- Work with Operations and Event Delivery to ensure flawless execution of partnership assets.
- Lead renewal and upsell conversations through strong reporting and demonstrated ROI.
- Represent CIG at industry events, conferences, and global networking functions.
5. Strategy, Forecasting & Reporting
- Provide weekly updates to the CEO on forecasting, pipeline health, and deal status.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline across stages, timelines, and conversion metrics.
- Support market expansion planning and category development across the U.S., Caribbean, UK, and emerging markets.
- Contribute to commercial strategy refinement and new product development.
6. Cross-Functional Leadership
Collaborate closely with:
- CEO: major negotiations, commercial strategy, global expansion
- MarComm Team: content, storytelling, proposal design
- Accounts Team: feasibility and asset fulfillment
- Finance Team: deal structure, profitability modelling, revenue tracking

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years in sponsorship sales, partnerships, sports commercial roles, or agency business development.
- Proven track record closing $100k+ deals.
- Strong experience collaborating with creative/MarComm teams.
- Excellent pitch confidence, negotiation skills, and executive presence.
- Commercial modelling and ROI understanding.
- CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.
- Experience with global sponsorship deal flow
- Passion for sport, cricket, storytelling, and experiential culture.
Preferred
- Established network with brand marketers, sponsorship agencies, tourism boards, or sports organizations.
- Experience with emerging sports, media rights, experiential activations, or rights packaging.
Package Info
- Reports to: CEO, Cricket Impact Group
- Compensation: $85,000 base + commission (OTE: $160,000+)
- Start: January 2026
