PlugandPlay Talent is partnering with a fast-growing B2B FinTech SaaS company to find a Director of Content Management & Communications.
This is a strategic leadership role that reports to the senior marketing leader. The successful candidate will build and lead a centralized content and communications function that helps the company tell a clear, compelling story across all customer-facing channels. The company is in the FinOps space, so a candidate from a similar, complex product that sells to enterprise companies would have an advantage.
About the Role
Our client is looking for a marketing leader who can transform strategy into high-quality execution. This person will create scalable processes, manage content production, and ensure consistency across all marketing and go-to-market initiatives.
Acting as the hub between Product Marketing, Demand Generation, Partnerships, and Sales, this leader will build the systems, workflows, and standards that allow marketing teams to move quickly while maintaining quality and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Communications Leadership
- Lead the company's content and communications function
- Develop thought leadership content, executive messaging, customer stories, and industry insights
- Oversee the creation of campaign assets, digital content, sales enablement materials, and event-related content
- Build scalable content production processes that improve quality, consistency, and speed-to-market
Brand & Messaging
- Own and evolve the company's messaging framework and brand voice
- Translate corporate strategy into compelling narratives for customers, prospects, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Develop and maintain content standards, templates, and reusable assets
- Ensure consistency across all customer-facing communications
Executive Thought Leadership & PR
- Partner with senior executives to build industry visibility and thought leadership
- Support executive social media presence and external communications
- Manage public relations initiatives and agency relationships
- Secure opportunities for media coverage, speaking engagements, and contributed content
Social Media & Market Presence
- Develop and execute social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness and credibility
- Create content programs that position the company as a trusted industry voice
- Measure engagement, reach, and influence across digital channels
Operations & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Design intake, prioritization, and content production workflows
- Establish clear service levels and expectations for internal stakeholders
- Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Leadership teams
- Track performance using metrics tied to brand awareness, engagement, and business impact
Ideal Background
If you are a strong fit for this role, you likely have:
- Experience in executing a company-wide content strategy with all of the areas mentioned above.
- Experience building and scaling content operations within a B2B SaaS, FinOps, or enterprise technology company
- Strong executive communications and thought leadership experience
- Experience managing public relations programs and external agencies
- A proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling business narratives
- Experience creating scalable marketing processes and content workflows
- Exceptional stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Familiarity with AI-powered content tools and modern content production technologies
