Accountabilities

  • Drive the discovery and validation of new market and product opportunities with strong revenue or strategic potential.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective customers, partners, and industry leaders, gathering market insights and identifying emerging trends.
  • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to shape and prioritize new business initiatives aligned with organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Partner Solutions teams to assess product-market fit, commercial viability, and pilot opportunities.
  • Define functional and market requirements for new opportunities and advocate for resources needed to succeed in new segments.
  • Manage a pipeline of early-stage opportunities, opening doors to pilot customers and supporting go-to-market execution when needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or go-to-market leadership within technology, energy, or related sectors.
  • Strong understanding of emerging market trends and the ability to translate insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Exceptional networking, relationship-building, and communication skills across technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, prioritize multiple initiatives, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams.
  • Strong negotiation, risk management, and project execution capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, energy, or a related field; advanced degrees or industry-specific certifications a plus.
