Position Overview
We are looking for a Direct Hire Recruiter to join our team. The Direct Hire Recruiter is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting execution and decision-making across assigned business units. This role serves as a primary recruiting consultant to hiring managers, exercising independent judgment in developing sourcing approaches, evaluating talent, and influencing hiring decisions that impact staffing outcomes and workforce effectiveness.
Education and Experience Criteria
- BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field, preferred. High School diploma or GED, required.
- 5+ years’ work experience as a Recruiter, with experience recruiting for healthcare roles (direct hire or blended perm/locum/travel).
- Demonstrated success in placing clinical professionals in competitive markets.
- Strong understanding of clinical roles, licensure, and credentialing requirements.
- Proven ability to influence client hiring decisions and negotiate offers.
- Experience using market data and analytics to guide recruiting decisions.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy and independent judgment.
- Proven experience working with recruitment technology, including but not limited to ATSs, Skill Survey, Calendly, Texting Platforms, Job Boards, and Chrome Extensions.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary starting at $50,000 annually, plus commission
- On-target earnings of approximately $130,000, with uncapped commission potential

Essential Duties and Requirements
- Owns full-cycle recruitment process for professional and/or specialized roles, including intake, sourcing, assessment, offer negotiation, and closing.
- Consults with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define hiring needs, competencies, and market considerations.
- Develops and executes sourcing plans using labor market data, competitive intelligence, and pipeline analytics.
- Independently assesses candidate qualifications and determines alignment with business needs, making recommendations on candidate selection.
- Exercises discretion in advancing, rejecting, or prioritizing candidates based on qualitative and quantitative factors.
- Advises on compensation ranges and hiring decisions, including structuring and negotiating offers within established guidelines.
- Influences hiring outcomes by presenting market insights, talent availability, and risk considerations to hiring decision-makers.
- Designs and refines recruiting processes to improve efficiency, candidate quality, and time-to-fill.
- Manages stakeholder relationships across departments, often resolving conflicting priorities and making recommendations aligned with department hiring goals.
- Ensures compliance with employment laws and internal policies while maintaining recruiting best practices.
- Determines sourcing channels, recruiting methods, and candidate pipelines.
- Makes independent recommendations regarding candidate selection and hiring outcomes.
- Exercises judgment in offer development, including compensation positioning within approved ranges.
- Advises hiring managers on go/no-go hiring decisions based on market conditions and talent quality.
- Prepares weekly and monthly reports for clients, highlighting progress toward requisition goals.
- Meets or exceeds recruiting metrics as set by the client and leadership.
- Strives for continuous improvement and career advancement.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

- Frequently communicate with internal and external clients via telephone, email, and video conferencing. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
