We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer a key client of ours, specializing in Kubernetes operations and architecture within a modern cloud environment built on a VMware stack. This role is vital for optimizing our container platform management.
DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes
Fully Remote, EU Residents Only
Daily Rate: €400
Contract Type: Freelance (full time)
6 month rolling
Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively within a small team to oversee Kubernetes operations and architecture.
- Implement and support VMware Tanzu and SUSE Rancher solutions.
- Manage and optimize NetApp Trident persistent volumes.
- Utilize Linux, Bash, and Ansible scripting to enhance automation.
Technical Skills Needed:
- VMware Tanzu
- SUSE Rancher

- Knowledge of Kubernetes networking and load balancing
Desirable Experience:
- Familiarity with Rancher RKE1 to RKE2 migrations.
