One League is recruiting a Development Coordinator to advance high-impact models and support the institutional efforts towards establishing the One League global scholarship fund across public and private sectors, corporations and individuals, and for-profit and non-profit sources of funding. Reflecting the global scope of operations for the institution, the fund will have a strong multinational component, across both developed and emerging countries around the world.
The Development Coordinator is responsible for identifying, researching, qualifying, and, as appropriate, stewarding a portfolio of donors and sources of funding across key strategic regions. This position will play a role in the annual planning process, recommend strategies to enhance fundraising, and take on additional related projects in collaboration with the One League Strategic Advisor and Founder/President.
The Development Coordinator will report to the One League Strategic Advisor to support building and implementing a robust development program. This includes but is not limited to:
- Proactively and cooperatively identifying multiple channels of giving opportunities
- In collaboration with leadership, developing a successful strategy for corporate and individual philanthropy and sponsorships
- Supporting donor engagement and stewardship efforts
- Supporting the effort to enhance the overall awareness of One League's programs and development and alumni opportunities through marketing initiatives, and media relations
- Being responsible for all administrative aspects of the development efforts including donor tracking and document management
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's desired
- At least 2-3 years of related work experience
- Proven experience in development in higher education including gift policies, solicitations, stewardship, donor recognition, grant writing, and administration
- Expert written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Proven project/program management skills and ability to set goals and meet objectives independently within budget and time constraints
- Demonstrated competency and commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion and proven highest ethical standards and conduct
- International experience in related field
- Ability to develop and implement persuasive ideas and compelling presentations
- Acumen to establish and maintain a positive working relationship with senior leadership within the organization and across outside constituencies
- Expertise to utilize software to create, retrieve and compile up-to-the-minute documents and historical information for reports
- Proven success as a development officer in a sophisticated environment raising major gifts in the $250,000-$500,000+ range

One League is headquartered in San Francisco, CA, however, this position is 100% remote, with no requirements to be on-site.
This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 15 hours per month.
