The purpose of this value based social network is to support its users in realizing their bucket list with the help of the community. Users connect around their bucket list items with ideas, questions, desires, and experiences, turn those into product-, service-, and event-referrals of all kind - all of which are being validated and commercialized by the community. All users can opt to commercialize their manifold contributions in a shared economy business model. basense forwards demand from within the community to our affiliated brands and earn sales commissions. basense is a human computation intelligence platform and has the capacity to verify or falsify any customer facing information. basense is a win | win | win for all participants.
The capacity to verify information is of high strategic value to AI providers to avoid further hallucinations. Therefore, basense is perfectly positioned to co-op with AI providers on training data as well as integration with AI assistants.
basense by EpiHelp AB is the only provider of this kind we know of. Therefore basense is a dual purpose investment between tech (social media) and data broker for the AI space.
We are seeking a passionate, out of the box thinking Tech Start-up Dealmaker to drive our seed-round fund raising activities. The offer consists of a blend of commissions and equity compensation. Our Senior Management Team is in place and getting ready to officially launch.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
- Broker EpiHelp AB Shares: Placing our shares in the private market is the dominant task for this role. We are a privately held, small shareholder company according to Swedish law. We are based in Stockholm.
- Planning Seed-round Financing: Assess and understand the business opportunity by analyzing team, technology and business planning , consisting of pitch deck, marketing materials, financial plan.
- Financing Strategy: build and approve financing strategy for the upcoming fund raisers.
- Investor Reach-out: Leverage your skills and network and ideally start the lead hunt with a handful of warm contacts. Manage reach-out activities like zoom calls, road shows, and raiser event participation in a lean and efficient way - as we are still in full bootstrapping mode.
- Close Seed-Round: Seed-Round is the near term goal. At this moment we offer an intermediate step with Business Angel money to catalyse both Launch and Seed Funding.
Requirements
Key Requirements:
- Proven Leadership: Minimum 10 years senior experience in deal making, private equity and placement, investment banking, or corporate strategic BD/M&A track record. Proven ability to score in the start-up environment.
- Industry knowledge: Our opportunity resides in the Tech, AI, Digital Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Social Community, Platform Technology spaces. Industry knowledge and passion is strongly required.
- Driving Innovation and delivering an unmet need: Ability to picture, sell, and drive innovative solutions and help partners leverage the potential our platform bears.
- Global Experience: Experience working in remote, decentralized teams with a global focus, especially in high-growth, tech-driven environments.
- Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or other with strong experience in Investment Banking, VC, Brokerage, or related fields.
- Minimum Financial Independence: at least for the initial period of 3 to 6 months the candidate must have a financial independence as a retainer can only be initiated after the seed-round financing has successfully been completed.
