Data / Cloud Architect – Snowflake (Healthcare Payer)
We’re looking for an experienced Data/Cloud Architect with strong Snowflake expertise and Healthcare Payer (Health Plan) experience to design scalable data platforms and analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design data architecture using Snowflake (data warehouses, lakehouse)
- Build healthcare data models (Claims, Enrollment, Provider, Clinical)
- Optimize Snowflake performance (Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks)
- Work with EDI (837/835/834/270/271) and payer workflows
- Design integrations (FHIR, HL7, CCDA, APIs)
- Build ETL/ELT pipelines (AWS/Azure/GCP, Informatica, DBT, Glue)
- Ensure HIPAA/CMS compliance and data governance
- Enable BI reporting (Power BI, Tableau, QuickSight)
- Lead teams and define data strategy
Required:
- 10+ years in Data Architecture/Engineering
- 5+ years Snowflake experience
- 5+ years Healthcare Payer domain
- Strong SQL + Python + cloud experience
Preferred:
- Snowflake / Cloud certifications
- Experience with QNXT, FACETS, HealthRules
- Knowledge of HEDIS, risk adjustment, value-based care
