Your Area Of Responsibility
- Analysis and modeling of large, heterogeneous data sets to generate business-relevant insights
- Development and implementation of predictive models (e.g. sales forecasts, trend analyses) to support strategic decisions
- Data visualization and preparation of complex results for different stakeholders
- Collaboration with the specialist departments to implement data-driven solutions
- Identification and implementation of new potential for data-based optimizations in the company
- Supporting the further development of our data architecture and strategy
- A degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science or a comparable subject
- practical experience with Python or R and common machine learning frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost)
- Good knowledge of SQL and experience with relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience in working with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, matplotlib)
- Analytical thinking, creativity in finding solutions and enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration
- Ideally initial experience in retail, sales or logistics
