As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our Data Science capabilities and are seeking a motivated Data Science Intern to contribute to real-world analytics initiatives within the HR technology domain.
Role Overview
The Data Science Intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Strategy to develop analytical solutions that improve recruitment intelligence and operational decision-making.
This role provides hands-on exposure to structured and semi-structured business datasets and offers the opportunity to work on production-level analytics projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and semi-structured HR and recruitment datasets
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and actionable insights
- Develop predictive models for workforce forecasting, attrition analysis, and candidate success scoring
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering)
- Work with time-series and cohort data to analyze recruitment performance metrics
- Build dashboards and visualizations using Python, SQL, and BI tools
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field
- Working knowledge of SQL for querying relational databases
- Understanding of supervised and unsupervised machine learning techniques
- Foundational knowledge of statistics, probability, and hypothesis testing
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Metabase)
- Exposure to HR analytics or recruitment-related datasets
