About The Role

The Data Entry Associate at NEST plays a vital role in supporting our operational efficiency by accurately reviewing, verifying, and entering data from source materials. This individual contributor is responsible for ensuring data accuracy, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining high standards of data integrity. The role offers flexibility in scheduling, with a preference for Thursdays, and is based out of our Sewell, NJ office. For the right candidate, remote work options are available, providing a balanced work environment. During the initial week, the role includes in-office training from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, to ensure a comprehensive understanding of processes and expectations.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional post-secondary education preferred
  • Proven experience in data entry, clerical work, or administrative support
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to operate office equipment efficiently
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Knowledge of data management systems is a plus
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality

Responsibilities

  • Review and verify codes and data from source documents to ensure accuracy
  • Enter data into company systems accurately and within designated timeframes
  • Identify and reconcile discrepancies or errors in data input
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all rules and procedures related to customer invoices
  • Perform general clerical duties, including operating office equipment and managing paperwork
  • Support operational efficiency by working independently and meeting productivity goals
  • Assist in promoting a positive work environment and fostering teamwork
  • Support departmental objectives by meeting or exceeding all goals and deadlines
  • Handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism
  • Participate in ongoing training and development activities as required
  • Other duties as assigned to support team and company objectives
