Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher in a related field preferred
- Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, preferably in an engineering or technical environment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors or inconsistencies in large datasets
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data entry software
- Experience with CRM systems or project management tools is a plus
- Familiarity with data management and database software such as Microsoft Access or Google Sheets
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of engineering terminology and data processes is advantageous but not mandatory
- Accurately enter and update data into internal systems, databases, and spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and correctness
- Cross-check data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement necessary corrections
- Organize, categorize, and maintain electronic and paper records for easy retrieval and compliance with company policies
- Assist in generating routine and ad-hoc reports by consolidating data from multiple sources
- Regularly clean and update data to preserve data integrity, removing outdated or inaccurate records
- Support data integration efforts across different platforms to ensure consistency and smooth transitions
- Collaborate with the Data Manager to monitor database performance and integrity
- Coordinate with departments such as engineering, finance, and project management to align data with business needs
- Maintain digital files in an organized manner, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive data in accordance with company policies and legal standards
- Perform routine audits and checks to verify data accuracy and completeness
- Provide administrative support, including preparing documents, reports, and communication materials as needed
