We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Software Development team. You will maintain and improve our product data pipeline, help the team analyze data, enforce data hygiene, and implement best practices of data governance or our product data.

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our Software Development team. You will maintain and improve our product data pipeline, help the team analyze data, enforce data hygiene, and implement best practices of data governance or our product data.

Position Responsibilities
- Building, maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving data pipelines using a variety of ETL tools
- Identifying and addressing data consistency and integrity issues
- Completing data change requests where self-service options do not exist
- Understanding our product, its data stores, and data pipelines to assist others in answering questions
- Understanding and enforcing data governance policies
- Leading the implementation of small projects
- Supporting junior team members when appropriate
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional team members
- Creating and maintaining data domain documentation as needed
- 1-3 years experience in data engineering or data analyst roles
- Experience with ETL processes and tools
- Proficiency with SQL
- Proficiency with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
- Proficiency with a variety of database products (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and business processes
- (Bonus) Familiarity with Python
