The work spans the full data lifecycle, from ingestion and modelling through to analytics, visualisation, and decision support.

Core responsibilities include building, optimising, and future-proofing modern data platforms using technologies such as Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Azure Databricks. The role also involves supporting cloud migrations and new development initiatives, typically delivered in cross-functional teams where there is strong emphasis on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Candidates MUST be based in Malmö, Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Östersund.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and building modern data platforms in cloud environments
  • Working with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, and Databricks
  • Developing and optimising data pipelines and analytics solutions
  • Supporting end-to-end data flows from ingestion to visualisation
  • Contributing to cloud migration and platform modernisation projects
  • Working collaboratively in agile, team-based delivery environments

The ideal profile will bring several years of experience as a Data Engineer, with strong SQL skills and experience working with notebooks. Experience with medallion architecture (or similar layered data modelling approaches) is expected, along with fluency in both Swedish and English.

Additional desirable experience includes working in consulting environments, data architecture responsibilities, exposure to data warehousing (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS), Power BI and semantic modelling, Python, DevOps tools (Git/Bitbucket), Kimball modelling approaches, and exposure to AI or Data Science projects.

The organisation offers a strong learning culture with time allocated for development and certifications, a collaborative environment, and opportunities to work on impactful projects that support both commercial and societal outcomes.
