Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience working with big data and streaming technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, Hive, Kafka, Spark, Flink, or similar
- Experience with workflow orchestration and pipeline tools like Airflow
- At least 2+ years of coding experience in Python or Scala
- Practical knowledge of data modeling, test automation, and building reliable data pipelines
- Strong understanding of data processing in large-scale environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and communicate technical concepts effectively
- Passion for learning new technologies and improving data infrastructure
- Design, develop, and implement data pipelines (ETLs) to integrate data from multiple sources into the data warehouse
- Collaborate with product and data teams to design and implement data model changes that support business needs
- Provide comprehensive documentation, training, and consulting to data warehouse users
- Participate in on-call rotations to support critical data pipelines and ensure system uptime
- Optimize data workflows for scalability, efficiency, and reliability
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to resolve issues promptly
- Stay current with emerging data technologies and incorporate best practices into workflow development
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations
