We are seeking an Analyst to support financial applications and reporting workflows through the analysis and organization of complex datasets. This role plays a key part in ensuring data accuracy, developing executive-facing reports, and supporting financial forecasting and planning efforts. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to interpret complex information and translate it into clear, actionable insights. Familiarity with tools such as SQL or Python is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and organize complex datasets to support business decisions and financial reporting
  • Develop and maintain executive-facing reports and dashboards to communicate key insights
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reports and systems
  • Support financial forecasting and planning through data analysis and trend identification
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into actionable insights
  • Work with data from multiple sources, including internal systems and external providers
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies
  • Continuously improve reporting processes and enhance data quality and usability
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, SQL, or Python (as applicable) to analyze and manipulate data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or a related analytical role
  • Strong experience with:
  • Excel and/or SQL for data analysis and reporting
  • Data analysis and manipulation using tools such as Python (a plus)
  • Working with large datasets and identifying trends, patterns, and insights
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies
  • Ability to improve reporting processes and enhance data quality and usability

Strongly Preferred:

  • Experience working with financial, fintech, or transactional datasets
  • Exposure to forecasting and predictive modeling techniques (e.g., regression analysis, time series methods such as ARIMA or Prophet, or machine learning approaches such as XGBoost or Random Forest)
  • Understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and overall data quality best practices
  • Experience building or supporting executive-facing reports or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
