Data Analyst (12-Month Contract, $5000/Month)


Location: Fully Remote


Schedule: Full-time, European Time Zone Availability


Contract: 12 months


Compensation: $5000 per month


Job Purpose

We are seeking a Data Analyst to transform data into actionable insights, deepening our understanding of both the Italian market and the broader classified industry. In this role, you will analyze user behavior, assess strategic initiatives, and experiment with new product features. Your contributions will have a direct impact on business growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Data-Driven Product Design: Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to inform and influence design decisions through data insights.
  • Data Analysis: Leverage our data lake and engineering support to generate high-value insights that drive business strategies.
  • Hypothesis Testing & Experimentation: Design and execute robust experiments, including A/B tests, to validate hypotheses and enhance decision-making.
  • Automated Reporting & Dashboards: Develop clear, dynamic dashboards to democratize data access across the organization.
  • Machine Learning Contribution: Analyze data to support and refine machine learning models, making our product smarter and more personalized.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in data extraction tools, particularly SQL and Spark, for handling large datasets.
  • Skilled in key libraries such as pandas, NumPy, and matplotlib, as well as rapid prototyping tools like Streamlit.
  • Expertise in analytics programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and statistical analysis.
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries, working with large datasets, and utilizing Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, with the ability to create impactful dashboards for diverse audiences.
  • Strong foundation in experiment design, hypothesis testing, and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to align analytical findings with strategic goals, prioritizing insights that drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in managing projects, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of applied statistical techniques for robust data analysis.
  • Excellent data visualization and presentation skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced English proficiency.


Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with designing, training, and deploying machine learning models.
  • Familiarity with ML Ops tools such as Kubeflow or MLflow for model tracking and lifecycle management.
  • Basic knowledge of Git, including version control workflows, branching, and pull requests.
