About The Role
HockeyStack is seeking a customer-focused Data Analyst to join its dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as a vital partner to our clients, helping them interpret complex data related to go-to-market revenue performance and marketing spend optimization. Your primary responsibility will be to leverage HockeyStack’s platform and available data to uncover meaningful insights and deliver actionable recommendations that drive strategic decisions. This position is not heavily focused on data engineering but emphasizes analytical thinking, strategic guidance, and clear communication. You will collaborate closely with Customer Success Managers and internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience, identify patterns and trends in marketing and sales data, and support clients in achieving their revenue goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Applied Economics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in Data Analytics or Consulting, with an emphasis on analytical roles
- Experience with Marketing Analytics or GTM/Sales Analytics is highly preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to structure and answer key business questions
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights to senior stakeholders
- Familiarity with SaaS, B2B marketing, or revenue analytics is a plus
- Ability to think strategically and recommend actions based on data insights
- Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to work
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-urgency environments
- Curious, self-aware, and receptive to feedback
- Partner with clients to understand their revenue goals, challenges, and key questions
- Utilize HockeyStack’s platform to analyze data, uncover insights, and generate actionable recommendations
- Translate complex metrics into clear, simple explanations suitable for non-technical audiences
- Support Customer Success Managers by providing data-driven strategic guidance to clients
- Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities within marketing and sales data to advise clients on where to focus efforts
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance the overall customer experience and product offerings
- Continuously develop your understanding of industry trends and data analytics best practices
- Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and client engagement
- Competitive salary range of $40,000 to $120,000 USD, commensurate with experience and location
