Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Data Analyst, your main objective is to solve business and product challenges with the use of data. You’ll be driving change in everything from revenue management and customer acquisition to product development. If your idea is well-founded and its estimated impact is good enough, it’ll be an idea worth pursuing. You’ll report to the Chief Business Officer and work closely with the business and tech teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key metrics and findings to stakeholders.
- Analyse business challenges and opportunities, develop data-driven solutions, and deliver the product end-to-end.
- Use automation to solve problems.
- Analyse and validate data to ensure high data quality and reliable insights.
- Proactively identify opportunity areas for deep-dive investigations and future business and product development.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field.
- Fluent in English. Swedish is not a must.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role, preferably in the travel or hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and Python.
- Strong analytical, numerical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Basic knowledge of automation, even if you’re not a full-fledged data scientist.
- Willingness to put in effort and show eagerness to grow both personally and professionally. However, this drive should not come at the expense healthy relationships with your coworkers and your contribution to a healthy work environment.
- Must be eligible to work in the EU without sponsorship.
