About The Role

The Data Quality Analyst at Redwood Family Care Network plays a vital role in maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of data that supports our quality assurance, compliance, and operational decision-making processes. This full-time position is based in Chino Hills, CA, and offers an excellent opportunity for professionals passionate about data analysis within a healthcare or human services setting. The analyst will work closely with leadership and various teams to validate, interpret, and report on data from existing platforms and dashboards, ensuring that information used across the organization is accurate and meaningful. This role emphasizes validation, trend analysis, and consistency checks rather than advanced data modeling, enabling leadership to confidently act on insights derived from the data.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, Public Health, or a related field. Equivalent experience (such as an associate degree combined with relevant work history) will also be considered. A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or quality assurance within structured data environments is preferred. Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and data organization techniques, is essential. Familiarity with business intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker is required for dashboard interpretation and reporting. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of data validation, trend analysis, and basic forecasting techniques. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders are critical for success. Knowledge of data confidentiality and privacy practices, along with the ability to follow established procedures and standards, is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks across multiple systems to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify discrepancies, missing data, or inconsistencies and escalate issues to appropriate system owners or leadership.
  • Maintain and update dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools, ensuring timely refreshes and publications according to schedule.

  • Support weekly and monthly reporting cycles related to quality indicators, training compliance, and operational performance.
  • Translate complex data insights into understandable summaries for non-technical audiences, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Assist in refining data definitions, documentation, and reporting standards to improve overall data quality and consistency.
  • Collaborate with teams to support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and compliance efforts.
  • Recognize data anomalies and escalate issues promptly to ensure data integrity is maintained across systems.
  • Participate in ongoing learning and development activities to stay current with data analysis best practices and tools.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the organization’s mission and operational needs.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability, hospital indemnity, critical illness, and accident insurance.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA), Healthcare FSA, and Dependent Care FSA options to support healthcare expenses.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) offering confidential support services.
