Data Analyst
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions. A critical part of this role involves designing, executing, and analyzing A/B tests and experimentation frameworks to measure the impact of product, marketing, and operational changes.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Design and implement A/B tests and other controlled experiments to evaluate product features, marketing campaigns, and process improvements.
- Define success metrics, establish control/treatment groups, and ensure statistical rigor in experiment design.
- Analyze experiment results, interpret statistical significance, and provide clear recommendations to stakeholders.
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and marketers to embed experimentation into decision-making processes.
- Develop dashboards and reports to monitor ongoing experiments and long-term performance.
- Document methodologies and maintain a repository of past experiments for organizational learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 4 - 6 years of experience in data analysis.
- Strong proficiency in advanced SQL queries and experience on Snowflake
- Solid understanding of statistical concepts: hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, regression, and causal inference.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Scala)
- Hands-on experience with A/B testing platforms is a plus (e.g., Optimizely, Google Optimize, Adobe Target, or in-house frameworks).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
