About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our Health Engineering Solutions (HES) team, supporting our CMS client initiatives. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with extensive experience in data quality assessment, data augmentation, and migration planning. The Senior Data Analyst will play a key role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and readiness of large datasets for analytics and system integration.
The position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify data discrepancies, develop remediation strategies, and support data migration efforts. The successful candidate will communicate findings effectively to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of data processes within a dynamic environment. This is a remote opportunity, offering the chance to work within a collaborative team dedicated to health solutions and federal government projects.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience as a data analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience with Python and SQL
- 2+ years of experience working with large, complex datasets
- Must reside and have worked in the U.S. for at least 3 of the last 5 years
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Adaptability to evolving data requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities
- Support data collection, augmentation, and preparation for analysis and reporting
- Implement data quality checks and evaluate new data files for completeness and accuracy
- Identify discrepancies, duplicates, and anomalies through pre-validation checks
- Document data issues and collaborate with teams to develop remediation strategies
- Assess sample datasets within the WODD system for quality and format compliance
- Assist in planning data migration efforts, including estimating data readiness and transformation needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality data for analytics and reporting
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to stakeholders
