About The Role
The Senior Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in owning and leading product health, operational, and omnichannel analytics for internal Gainwell products, including Provider+, Claims, Encounters, and Financials (CEF). Serving as a trusted analytics partner, this individual will collaborate closely with Product, Operations, Customer Experience (CX), Engineering, and Executive leadership to translate complex data into actionable insights. The role involves designing and maintaining scalable Power BI dashboards, automating reporting processes, and performing advanced trend and root-cause analysis to identify risks and opportunities. The Senior Data Analyst will also mentor junior team members, establish reporting standards, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven recommendations. This position offers the flexibility of a fully remote work environment with occasional travel opportunities and is instrumental in driving continuous improvement in product performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, or operational/product analytics
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, including data modeling, Power Query, and DAX
- Strong expertise in SQL, with experience in complex joins and performance optimization
- Proven experience analyzing contact center, CRM, and operational data
- Experience supporting internal products or platforms within a product or service delivery environment
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for automation and data preparation
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide comprehensive views of product health across multiple channels
- Serve as a subject-matter expert for contact center and omnichannel analytics, including voice, chat, CRM, and case management data
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key metrics, health indicators, and success measures for internal products
- Analyze support demand drivers, backlog trends, failure demand, and operational inefficiencies to identify improvement areas
- Perform advanced trend, root-cause, and correlation analyses to uncover risks and opportunities
- Develop scalable data models and optimized datasets to support reporting and analytics needs
- Automate reports and dashboards to enhance reliability, reduce manual effort, and improve performance
- Support the development of SQL queries and data workflows to underpin analytics solutions
- Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and operational teams
- Establish and enforce reporting standards, metric definitions, and documentation practices
- Mentor junior analysts, sharing best practices and supporting their professional development
- Balance immediate reporting requirements with strategic analytics initiatives to align with organizational goals
- Competitive salary range of $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, commensurate with experience and location
