Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Analyst Intern to support our brokerage analytics team. You’ll work with live, structured financial data from regulated brokers to build performance dashboards, analyse trading trends, and support internal reporting.
This internship is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on exposure to financial data in a trading or investment context, and build portfolio-ready projects using real-world data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare brokerage trade logs, deposit/withdrawal data, and account-level metrics
- Analyse trader behaviour, client retention, deposit frequency, and ROI trends
- Build visual dashboards using Excel or Power BI to monitor portfolio KPIs
- Contribute to weekly performance summaries and risk profiling reports
- Support the automation of recurring reporting tasks
- Assist in identifying red flags, churn risks, and high-performing client patterns
What We’re Looking For
- Strong interest in financial markets, trading platforms, or data analytics
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g. formulas, charts, PivotTables); Power BI or SQL a plus
- Ability to spot trends and communicate insights clearly
- Organised and self-motivated, with good attention to detail
