As a Data Analyst I at Fanatics Betting & Gaming (FBG), you will be part of our growing Marketing Analytics organization, supporting customer acquisition and early life engagement with data-driven insights to optimize performance and drive growth. In this entry-level role, you will collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as engineering, product, marketing, and finance to provide clear, actionable analytics that inform decision-making and help shape our customer acquisition and engagement strategies.
You'll build reports, dashboards, and analytical outputs to monitor key metrics, assess campaign performance, and support acquisition initiatives. Launched in 2021, Fanatics Betting and Gaming is the online and retail sports betting subsidiary of Fanatics, a global digital sports platform. The Fanatics Sportsbook is available to 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. Fanatics Casino is currently available online in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Fanatics Betting and Gaming operates twenty-two retail sports betting locations, including the only sportsbook inside an NFL stadium at Northwest Stadium. Fanatics Betting and Gaming is headquartered in New York with offices in Denver, Leeds and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a solid understanding of Fanatics Betting & Gaming's products, customers, and performance goals
- Analyze customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and value trends using customer-level performance data
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor marketing KPIs across paid media, CRM, promotions, and other marketing channels
- Support campaign measurement and experimentation, helping to evaluate A/B test results and other tests
- Partner closely with the Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that inform business decisions
- Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through clear visualizations and presentations
- Stay up to date on trends in marketing analytics, digital media, and the sports betting & gaming industry
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
- Foundational data analysis skills, with the ability to extract and clean data from structured sources
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to structure analysis in a clear, logical manner
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
- Willingness to learn and grow within the analytics function, especially in the marketing domain
- Experience with data tools such as SQL and data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
- Experience or coursework in Python or R for data analysis
- Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Redshift, or Google Analytics
- Exposure to marketing concepts such as attribution, campaign tracking, A/B testing, or customer segmentation is a plus
- Interest in the sports betting and gaming industry
- The expected salary range for this role is based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role is eligible for the Fanatics Betting and Gaming annual bonus program
- Salary range is listed in USD; Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. *Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 (Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the current Offer is confirmed).
