Overview

We are partnering with a SaaS Client to hire for a Data Analyst to the Engineering Operations team. The ideal candidate has a passion for translating data into meaningful insights, ability to identify invalid data, while ensuring data accuracy and consistency. This person thrives in ambiguity, is energized by a fast-paced work environment and can comfortably juggle a diverse array of responsibilities. They don't shy away from ambiguity and thrive in a fast paced, fluid environment where work responsibilities can change quickly. The core focus for this assignment will be on: Incident management reporting.

• Contract Duration: 6+ Months
• Hourly Rate: $55 - $65/hour
• Location: Remote (must be located in Canada)
• Must be able to work in Canada without sponsorship.
• JQL experience is required!!
  
  

Responsibilities

Data Collection, Cleaning and Processing:

• Assist in gathering, cleaning, and organizing datasets from various sources.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  
  

Data Analysis

• Utilize statistical methods and data visualization tools to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in the data.
• Utilize SQL to manipulate data.
  
  

Reporting And Visualization

• Generate reports and visualizations to communicate data insights.
• Contribute to the creation of dashboards in Tableau and Jira for various stakeholders.
  
  

Documentation

• Document data analysis processes, findings, and recommendations.
• Maintain organized records of datasets and analyses.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, JQL).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
• Strong expertise with Tableau server
• Strong expertise with Jira
• Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
