Role: Data Analyst/Consultant — Value-Based Care
Location: Remote in Canada, with occasional team meetings in downtown Toronto
Key Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets using enterprise data warehouses, clinical data platforms, and population health tools.
- Develop dashboards, recurring reports, and automated pipelines to track provider performance, risk adjustment, quality outcomes, utilization patterns, and financial results under value-based arrangements.
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations, visualizations, and executive-level presentations.
- Proactively identify trends, gaps, and root-cause drivers to inform operational and strategic initiatives for VBC stakeholders.
Your Experience
- Experience in management consulting, healthcare analytics, population health, or value-based care operations
- Demonstrated ability to manipulate large datasets, build models, and generate insights that drive business and clinical decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Administration, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field (MBA or Master’s is an asset).
- Strong analytical, financial modeling, and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex analyses into clear stories for executives and clinicians.
- High IQ/EQ (emotional intelligence)
- Strong Excel or Google Sheets proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, basic data cleaning).
- A plus: Familiarity with SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), or basic scripting (Python, Apps Script)
