About Heka

Employee benefits are broken. They often focus on the wrong things, appeal to only part of a team, or miss the mark entirely. We believe that benefits should add value for everyone, which is why everything we do is designed to make people perform at their best, every day.

We are proud to be the only platform to focus on individual health, while offering limitless choice to employees to own their wellbeing journeys. Whether it's mindfulness, nutrition, or movement; a crisis or a treat, Heka supports everybody to live and perform at their best, every day. And all of that inside one single employee benefit.

Your experience

This full-time role is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a junior background in customer service who’s eager to take the next step in their career and make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

We’re committed to providing a positive working environment, and in return, we ask that you bring passion, a strong work ethic, and hit the ground running from day one.

The role in a nutshell

Join our team and make a meaningful impact by supporting our Customer Success team and helping our members get the most out of Heka.

In this role, you’ll manage our Customer Support & Memberships inboxes and assist our Customer Success team in maximising our members’ engagement with and overall experience of Heka.

You will have strong organisational and communication skills. From liaising with various teams, to juggling multiple customer queries and solving problems, your enthusiasm for order and efficiency will be vital to our success.

If you’re a proactive multitasker with a passion for helping people and delivering great customer service, this role offers the perfect opportunity to excel in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Core responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities of the role are listed below, but as a startup you will need to have flexibility to adapt as we grow as a business.

  • Handle customer queries by responding to incoming emails promptly, professionally, and in a friendly manner, ensuring clear and thorough communication.
  • Provide accurate information to customers about products, services, and policies, ensuring they have all the details they need.
  • Manage Heka members’ gym, health & wellbeing reimbursements, including processing claims and receipts.
  • Member engagement - making sure that our members are engaged with the platform and booking regularly where possible by sending updates and email reach outs.
  • Working collaboratively with the Customer Success & Partnerships teams to help ensure Heka supplier issues are resolved quickly and feedback is shared with the rest of the team.

Working at Heka

Heka is a rapidly growing start up, with ambitious targets and a team who pull together to achieve them. We value hard-work, a can-do attitude, and creative thinking. But we also prioritise work-life balance: we want to be part of your life, not your whole life.

Preferred experience & skills

  • A genuine interest in all things health and wellbeing
  • Experience working for a startup or in the technology / wellbeing industry is a plus

Key benefits

We prioritise employee wellbeing and offer benefits that truly make a difference:

  • Remote and flexible working
  • £1,200 annual wellbeing budget
  • Virtual GP, EAP, physiotherapy, free mortgage support, free nutrition guidance and 20 other types of wellbeing 1-1 sessions to choose from.
  • 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays and your birthday off)
  • Additional day off for each year of service
  • Financial wellbeing support with salary sacrifice pension
  • Early finish on Fridays and Wellbeing Wednesdays
  • Generous Maternity and Paternity pay
  • Real equity in the business
