The Role
As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll serve as the primary partner for Dawnguard’s customers—ensuring they gain measurable value from our platform and achieve their security goals. You’ll build trusted relationships, guide onboarding and adoption, and proactively support customers throughout their lifecycle.
This isn’t a typical CSM role. As one of the earliest members of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to build Customer Success from the ground up at a fast-moving, AI‑native cybersecurity startup.

The Role
As a Customer Success Manager, you’ll serve as the primary partner for Dawnguard’s customers—ensuring they gain measurable value from our platform and achieve their security goals. You’ll build trusted relationships, guide onboarding and adoption, and proactively support customers throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities
- Lead onboarding, enablement, and ongoing training for new and existing customers
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive adoption and long‑term value
- Monitor customer health, usage metrics, and risks—taking proactive action to ensure success
- Gather, synthesize, and advocate for customer feedback across product and engineering
- Support renewals and identify opportunities for expansion and account growth
- Develop and refine Customer Success processes, playbooks, and tooling
- Own and continuously improve the end‑to‑end customer journey
- Maintain accurate customer data in CRM and Success platforms
- Establish Customer Success as a strategic function within Dawnguard and represent the Voice of the Customer company‑wide
- 5+ years in Customer Success, Account Management, or related client‑facing roles
- Experience supporting technical products or working closely with engineering teams
- Strong communication, empathy, and problem‑solving skills
- Comfortable operating in a remote‑first, fast‑paced startup environment
- Fluent in English and Dutch (written and spoken)
- Strong strategic thinking, operational design, and leadership capabilities
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience working in SaaS or cybersecurity companies
- Experience building or scaling Customer Success programs in a startup
