Customer Service Specialist - Freight Forwarding – Sweden

Location: Sweden, Gothenburg

Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

The Customer Service Specialist will ensure excellent end-to-end service delivery to DP World’s freight forwarding customers in Sweden. This role is pivotal in securing customer satisfaction and retention by managing day-to-day operational execution across Air, Ocean, Land, and Intermodal shipments.

How You Will Contribute

  • Act as first point of contact for customer inquiries and shipment status.
  • Resolve complaints and provide proactive communication.
  • Coordinate operational execution including bookings, customs, and documentation.
  • Monitor KPIs and ensure timely invoicing and compliance.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agents to ensure service excellence.
  • Support account start-up and SOP documentation.
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities during customer interactions.
  • Contribute to process improvement and service reliability.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams.

What You Will Bring

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–5 years in freight forwarding operations or customer service.
  • Hands-on knowledge of Air, Ocean, Land, and Intermodal transport.
  • Familiarity with customs procedures and trade documentation.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English.

Skills

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in TMS and CRM tools.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Customer-centric mindset and collaborative approach.
