About The Role

As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative working remotely from your home in California, you will play a vital role in supporting consumers with their healthcare benefit needs. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service by engaging thoughtfully with customers, resolving questions, and guiding them through their healthcare options. Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of customer service experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong empathy, patience, and attentiveness to customer needs
  • Comfortable working with computer systems and Windows-based applications
  • A designated, distraction-free home workspace
  • A secure, high-speed wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps)

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls from customers promptly and professionally
  • Engage thoughtfully with customers to understand their healthcare benefit needs
  • Conduct research across multiple systems to resolve customer inquiries
  • Provide clear, accurate information to help consumers navigate healthcare options effectively
  • Manage a high volume of interactions while maintaining quality and professionalism
  • Adhere to scheduled work hours, including breaks and lunches
  • Document customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the system
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training sessions and coaching to enhance skills and knowledge
