Company Description

Werkandme is a people performance platform built specifically for automotive dealerships and other frontline-driven businesses where employee engagement directly impacts revenue, CSI, and retention.

We help dealership leaders reduce costly turnover and improve performance by giving them real-time visibility into their teams and the tools to act on it. At Werkandme, culture isn’t a feel-good initiative. It’s a measurable business lever.

Our success is tied directly to our clients’ success. Adoption, utilization, and retention matter here.

Role Description: Culture Coach (Automotive)

This is a full-time, remote role with approximately 25% travel for a Culture Coach who works directly with dealership leadership teams.

This is not an HR role.

You will work alongside Dealer Principals, General Managers, and department leaders to help them use Werkandme to improve engagement, reduce turnover, and drive performance on the showroom floor and in the service drive.

You are accountable for client outcomes. When dealerships actively use the platform and see results, you’re doing your job well.

What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Partnering directly with dealership leadership to implement and drive ongoing use of Werkandme
  • Guiding GMs and managers on how to turn engagement data into practical, day-to-day actions
  • Coaching leaders on recognition, accountability, and communication that impacts retention and performance
  • Supporting in-store and virtual rollouts, including manager and frontline adoption
  • Identifying disengagement and retention risks early and helping leaders address them
  • Acting as a trusted, long-term advisor to clients
  • Owning client utilization and retention as your primary success metrics

Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience working in or with automotive dealerships is strongly preferred
  • (sales, service, BDC, fixed ops, training, consulting, or vendor roles)
  • Comfortable working with dealership leaders in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with frontline teams and executives
  • Ability to coach leaders and have direct, sometimes difficult conversations
  • Data-comfortable and able to translate insights into clear next steps
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Experience in client success, consulting, training, or account management roles is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but real dealership experience matters more

How Success Is Measured
  • Client utilization and adoption
  • Client retention and long-term partnership strength
  • Dealer leader engagement and trust
  • Ability to help dealerships turn culture into measurable results

This Role Is Not for You If…
  • You’re looking for a traditional HR or internal people role
  • You prefer theory, frameworks, or workshops over real-world execution
  • You’re uncomfortable being accountable for client outcomes
  • You don’t enjoy working directly with dealership leadership
  • You’re not willing to travel or engage face-to-face with clients
  • You’re not energized by performance-driven environments

If you understand dealership life, believe people drive performance, and want to help stores win by investing in their teams, we want to hear from you.
