About Dominate Next

Dominate Next is a performance marketing agency built for ambitious ecommerce brands ready to dominate their next stage of growth.

We specialise in Meta advertising and performance-led creative that reduces acquisition costs, increases returns, and turns paid social into a scalable growth engine. Every decision we make is guided by data, testing, and commercial outcomes, not vanity metrics.

Our sweet spot is six and seven-figure DTC brands, helping them scale from six figures to multi-six, from multi-six to seven figures, and from seven figures beyond.

We run campaigns across the UK, US, Australia, and Europe, including Germany, France, and Spain. Our clients are ambitious, our standards are high, and our work delivers results that compound over time.

We're selective about who we partner with. That means fewer clients, deeper relationships, and work that actually matters.

The Role

We're hiring a Creative Strategist to own the research, strategy, and brief development behind performance Meta ads for a portfolio of DTC ecommerce brands. This is a full-time, 37.5 hours per week position.

This is a thinking role, not a brief-writing role for the sake of it. You'll dig into customer language, study what's converting in the category, form a clear point of view on what to test next, and write briefs tight enough that an editor or UGC creator can deliver without ten questions back. This is the role that turns performance data into creative direction worth producing.

You'll work closely with:

  • Paid Social Managers (translating performance signals into creative direction together)
  • In-house Editors and Graphic Designers (turning your briefs into ads that convert)
  • UGC Creators (sourcing, briefing, and directing them to deliver against the strategy)
  • The Founders (direct access from day one)
  • Client Stakeholders (founders, marketing leads, ecommerce managers)

Your core responsibility is to drive measurable performance improvements across client accounts through sharper creative thinking, tighter briefs, and faster iteration on what's working.

What You’ll Own

Creative Research and Insight

  • Mining customer reviews, social comments, and survey data to surface the language buyers actually use.
  • Studying competitor and category creative through tools like Foreplay and Meta Ad Library.
  • Identifying winning angles, hooks, formats, and structures across the category and translating them into testable concepts for your accounts.
  • Building and maintaining swipe libraries organised by client.
  • Developing a working understanding of each brand's customer, product, category, and positioning.

Creative Strategy and Briefing

  • Building creative testing roadmaps grounded in performance data, not opinion.
  • Writing detailed briefs for statics and video ads that leave no ambiguity during production.
  • Sourcing, briefing, and managing freelance UGC creators end-to-end.
  • Keeping a concept pipeline ahead of demand so accounts are never short of fresh angles when fatigue hits.
  • Treating every brief as a hypothesis with a measurable outcome attached.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Working alongside Paid Social Managers to translate performance signals into creative direction.
  • Briefing in-house editors and graphic designers with the clarity they need to execute fast and right first time.
  • Reviewing creative output before it ships to make sure it lands the brief.
  • Maintaining a feedback loop between what's tested and what's learned so insight compounds across accounts.

Client Communication

  • Co-leading client calls alongside paid social managers and founders
  • Producing clear weekly updates on performance and clear next steps
  • Presenting insights confidently on monthly strategy calls
  • Connecting actions taken to results achieved
  • Escalating risks early and proactively

Performance Analysis and Iteration

  • Reviewing ad-level performance to identify winners, losers, and fatigue patterns early.
  • Diagnosing why specific creative is or isn't working, going beyond surface metrics.
  • Iterating on winning concepts through structured variation rather than starting from scratch each time.
  • Holding a clear point of view on what to test next and why.

Account Standards

  • Maintaining clean naming, tagging, and board structure across your accounts in Foreplay or equivalent.
  • Logging concepts, briefs, hypotheses, and outcomes so learnings compound rather than evaporate.
  • Keeping the creative pipeline visible to internal teams and clients.
  • Advising clients on creative direction and on-site conversion levers where they affect ad performance.

What Success Looks Like

We work to clear 30, 60, and 90-day expectations. By the end of each window, the picture should look like this.

By day 30: You're onboarded onto your accounts. You understand each one's customer, product, performance baseline, and existing creative library. Your first round of researched concepts is briefed in and going to production.

By day 60: You're running your accounts confidently with light oversight. You're producing weekly insight summaries that paid social managers and clients can act on. The testing roadmap for each account is yours, end to end.

By day 90: Performance is improving measurably through structured creative iteration. Clients trust you to lead creative conversations on monthly calls. In-house teams and freelance creators are shipping work first time off your briefs because the briefs are that clear.

Who Thrives Here

You're a researcher first. You don't write a brief until you've read the reviews, watched the competitor ads, and understood the customer. Shortcuts on research show up later as failed tests.

You think in concepts, not assets. You can take a single angle and map ten ways to express it across video and static. You know that volume without a clear concept is just noise.

You write briefs people can actually use. Editors, designers, and creators don't come back asking what you meant. Your briefs do the thinking, so they can focus on their craft.

You understand buyer psychology. You think about why people buy before you think about what the ad looks like. Hooks, structure, pacing, and messaging are tools you reach for deliberately, not by accident.

You're commercially literate. You understand that creative serves performance, not the other way round. You know what NCPA, frequency, and hook rate mean and how they connect to the business.

You communicate clearly. You can explain why you're testing what you're testing, what you're learning, and what's coming next. You're comfortable on client calls.

You move with intent. You test with purpose, learn from results, and iterate quickly.

You want to be excellent. You're not looking for a comfortable seat. You want to be held to high standards because that's how you get better.

Not For You If

  • You'd rather analyse creative than make it.
  • You shy away from data, performance numbers, or honest conversations about what isn't working.
  • You wait to be told what to test next.
  • You confuse a polished portfolio with strong commercial thinking.
  • You want a quiet agency seat with no real ownership.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of hands-on creative strategy experience for DTC ecommerce brands, at an agency.
  • A portfolio of paid social creative you've concepted and briefed across video and static.
  • Fluency in creative intelligence tools such as Foreplay or Motion.
  • Demonstrable experience sourcing, briefing, and managing freelance UGC creators.
  • Comfortable in Figma, Canva, and CapCut for reference building.
  • Able to read Meta Ads Manager performance data at ad and ad set level and pull creative-level insight without waiting on a media buyer.
  • A working understanding of buyer psychology and what actually makes people convert.
  • Clear written and verbal communication. Comfortable presenting concepts and rationale to clients.

What We Offer

  • £31,000 to £36,000 salary, depending on experience
  • Additional performance bonus tied to company objectives
  • 28 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays, taken flexibly) plus your birthday off
  • Company Pension scheme
  • Exclusive employee discounts through Bright Exchange
  • Regular progression and performance reviews
  • Annual salary reviews
  • Fully remote working
  • Structured onboarding with clear 30, 60, and 90-day expectations
  • Direct access to founders and real account ownership from day one

Why Dominate Next

We're a small team building something ambitious.

You won't have layers of seniority above you, process to hide behind, or anywhere to coast. What you will have is direct founder access from day one, real account ownership from the start, and a seat at the table where this function is being shaped.

At bigger agencies, even strong creative strategists are one of many. They brief through other strategists, watch their work get diluted, and hear about wins second hand. This isn't that. You'll own your accounts. You'll speak to clients directly. Your decisions will be visible, your wins will be seen, and the standard you set will become the standard the next hire works to.

If you want to compress three years of growth into one, this is where it happens.

Our clients are established DTC brands with real products that already sell. We’re not trying to make bad products work. We're unlocking growth for brands that deserve it.

If you want to be part of building something, not just filling a seat, we want to hear from you.
