Company Description

Gallery Design Studio NYC helps B2B and B2G technology companies simplify and strengthen how they communicate—visually. Through GDS Monthly™, our creative membership, we deliver high-impact sales and marketing assets (videos, eBooks, presentations, websites, and more) aligned to the buyer journey. We partner closely with clients to create visuals that communicate clearly, reduce friction, build trust, and help teams close deals faster.

We work with some of the best teams in tech, from fintech to defense, and we take real pride in craft, clarity, and speed. Our values show up in the day-to-day: Simplicity (clear thinking), Humility (always learning), Creativity (smart ideas), Accountability (we do what we say), and Teamwork (no lone wolves).

Role Description

This is a part-time Creative Project Manager, Client Services role with the goal of rolling into full-time after a trial period if it’s a strong mutual fit. The role is primarily remote, but you must be open to working on-site in New York City when needed (workshops, key reviews, tight collaboration moments).

You will run client delivery day-to-day: leading client calls, translating priorities into clear plans, and keeping work organized in eShelf (our internal project management software). You are the bridge between the client, our marketing manager, and our creative production team (designers, animators, writers). You love working with highly talented people, and you keep projects moving with calm, polished communication and strong sequencing.

What You’ll Do
  • Oversee multiple creative projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring clear scope, owners, and next steps
  • Lead client calls: agenda, notes, decisions, and follow-ups
  • Translate client priorities into smart sequencing and realistic timelines
  • Keep eShelf (our internal project management software) clean and current: tasks, owners, due dates, assets, and decision summaries
  • Manage dependencies (inputs, approvals), flag risks early, and keep expectations clear
  • Maintain strong client communication: concise updates, clear boundaries, warm tone
  • Coordinate resourcing and workflows across designers, animators, and writers
  • Liaise with contractors as needed (VO artists, copywriters, freelancers): onboarding, commissioning work, scheduling, and keeping deliverables on track
  • Track basic budgets/effort assumptions, flag scope creep, and support resource planning so work stays on time and on track
Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients and internal teams (including senior stakeholders)
  • Project management experience: ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple creative projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong sequencing and resource coordination skills; able to keep timelines realistic
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Comfortable receiving direct feedback and iterating quickly—you’re the bridge
  • Comfortable working inside eShelf (our internal project management software) and keeping systems clean
  • Budget awareness: can track effort, flag scope creep, and support resource planning
  • Availability for the initial part-time commitment and openness to on-site work in NYC when needed
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (Communications, Business, Marketing, Design, or related), or equivalent experience

What Good Looks Like

You’re running client calls smoothly, keeping eShelf (our internal project management software) clean, and making priorities obvious—so the team can execute without confusion. Clients feel “held” because updates are clear, timelines are realistic, and follow-ups happen fast. Internally, work ships more predictably because sequencing is tighter, risks are flagged early, and designers/animators spend less time on admin and more time producing great work.
