Paladin is now LHH Recruitment Solutions! We are partnering with our media and wellness client to recruit a Creative Director to join the organization on a permanent basis, fully remotely in the US. In this pivotal, senior role for the organization, you will work directly with senior company leadership and cross-functional marketing, creative, media and experiential teams to own, hone and align the brand's creative strategy across all teams and channels. You will be the senior-most creative for the organization, working in lockstep with the CEO to align company goals, messaging, visuals and strategy. You will manage a team of mid-level leaders and will support them in managing their teams across the organization, and will be an advocate for departmental needs with company leaders. To be a fit, you should bring 8+ years of senior-level creative leadership experience with experience in matrixed creative organizations. The ideal Creative Director for this team understands and has worked across design, communications, video and multimedia, and experiential functions, and can speak to aligning these functions historically. A deep background in design is required, with strong preference for experience in video and multimedia production. Additionally, this role requires a wealth of experience working with senior leaders, talent and similar critical partners in a media-focused environment. A passion for wellness, mindfulness and similar work is a must.

Base salary ranges from $160,000 to $190.000 annually, with some flexibility for the perfect match of relevant experience. This is a fully remote role open to candidates based in the US, but flexibility in scheduling and availability to travel up to 25% is required.
You will:
- Serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and company leadership, crafting brand goals, and ensuring creative strategy and output are aligned across marketing, communications, multimedia and experiential departments
- Lead mid-level managers across those marketing, creative, multimedia and experiential teams to own, hone and align the brand's creative strategy across all teams and channels
- Represent and advocate for the needs of creative teams across the organization, optimizing workflows and ensuring departments are functioning at a high level
- Guide the visual and verbal brand identity for the organization, ensuring the mission and organizational culture are reflected in all design, communications and similar materials
- Ideate and present new strategies, opportunities and campaigns to senior leaders and teams
Your experience should include:
- 8+ years of senior-level creative leadership experience with a deep knowledge of consumer-facing, multimedia brands and experiences
- Experience in the wellness space, highly preferred
- In-depth understanding of creative departments with a multimedia and experiential edge, with experience aligning in-house creative teams with overall company goals highly preferred
- Foundational design experience with a track record of aligning design experiences and projects with cross-functional creative like video, podcast, experiences and campaigns
- In-depth experience in a production environment with understanding of workflow planning and experience reviewing, approving and guiding finalized creative output
- Technical experience in Adobe Creative Suite, project management software, DAM software; Experience in video editing, preferred
- Track record of successful team management experience
