We are partnering with our entertainment and wellness client to recruit a fully-remote, US based Creative Director to integrated creative efforts across design, multimedia, brand and content initiatives. In this role, you will serve as a strategic partnership to company ownership and leadership in guiding the brand experience, voice and identity across all touchpoints. This is a content -driven organization with creative at the core of their product line and output, so you will be an integral part of nurturing that brand experience with internal creative teams, marketing staff and other stakeholders. You will be responsible for guiding aligned and high-quality execution for all creative output, working closely with designers, multimedia production staff, writing and content teams to direct projects, and partner closely with departmental leaders to align brand experience at every touch. You will be a critical part of setting SOPs and standards for integrated creative work, working with staff to align existing brand guidelines with measurement criteria, best practices and training to ensure consistency, and will have a small team of direct report managers to help you communicate with and align teams. You will also serve as the senior leader of the creative function, and will enable team success by owning creative operations work that drives efficient workflows, clear communication, technical excellence and brand clarity. To be a fit, you should bring 10+ years of experience in senior-level creative leadership roles, with experience working in-house for a brand as their dedicated creative expert, required. Consumer branding and creative expertise is a must, and knowledge of integrated creative encompassing design, multimedia, content and similar is required – this role is not simply leading design work. There is a strong preference for wellness industry experience and/or experience in the entertainment or multimedia spaces.


This is an incredible opportunity to work for a well-known brand with mass reach, but on a mid-sized team that is deeply collaborative! You will be guiding integrated creative across everything from design assets, website experience, brand content, event experiences and more. This is a fully remote role for US-based candidates. Base salary ranges from $135,000 to $150,000 annually, and this role is bonus eligible for significant additional earning potential after your first year of employment. You will:

  • Serve as the senior creative advisor to the company’s owner and executive team, working with leaders to ideate, create and execute on creative projects and brand experiences
  • Guide creation of aligned and high-quality brand creative output, working closely with designers, multimedia production staff, writing and content teams to direct projects, ensure consistency and innovate through output
  • Partner closely with departmental leaders to align existing brand guidelines with creative output across relevant departments and platforms (eCommerce, marketing, communications, technology, etc.)
  • Operate as a department leader to a small group of mid-level managerial direct reports and their team members, providing mentorship, coaching, hiring and performance management support for the creative function
  • Leverage your own tactical creative expertise to stay close to the work, jumping in design, content or similar projects as needed


Your experience should include:

  • 10+ years of creative direction or similar senior-level brand and creative leadership experience with consumer brands expertise; Experience in consumer entertainment or multimedia business models, strongly preferred
  • Experience working in-house and dedicated to one consumer brand, required (integrated agency and brand-side experience is welcome)
  • In-depth experience leading teams of integrated creatives across design, content and multimedia production
  • Creative operations expertise with skill guiding departmental SOPs, workflow management, tech stack management and expectations
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, project management tools
  • Comfort leveraging your tactical creative background and jumping in to design or content projects
  • Experience working closely with senior company leadership and ownership as a creative partner
