We are seeking a visionary Creative Director to define and elevate the visual identity and brand experience of a cutting-edge AI-driven creative platform. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on design, shaping how innovation is communicated across products, branding, and storytelling. You will collaborate closely with product, research, and engineering teams to translate complex technological capabilities into inspiring visual experiences. The ideal candidate is both an expert designer and a brand strategist, capable of mentoring a multidisciplinary creative team while establishing scalable design systems. This is a unique opportunity to influence the perception of a pioneering product at the intersection of design and AI innovation. Accountabilities:

  • Define and lead the overall creative vision and visual language across product, brand, and storytelling touchpoints
  • Establish a cohesive, evolving brand identity that communicates innovation, elegance, and creative freedom
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore and implement new design capabilities, integrating AI-driven tools into creative expression
  • Stay hands-on in design work, prototyping, iterating, and refining visuals that demonstrate the platform's creative potential
  • Build, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team, setting standards for visual excellence and fostering a collaborative culture
  • Align creative direction with broader product strategy, brand growth, and organizational objectives
  • Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, creative frameworks, and scalable design systems to ensure consistency and impact


Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in creative leadership, visual identity, and digital brand design
  • Strong combination of aesthetic sensitivity and strategic brand thinking; able to translate vision into a unified visual language
  • Mastery of visual fundamentals and cultural sensibility across art, film, photography, graphic design, and emerging media
  • Hands-on proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern AI/3D design tools
  • Experience building scalable design systems and frameworks to empower cross-functional teams
  • Deep curiosity about design, technology, AI, and generative media, with the ability to translate technical capabilities into expressive visuals
  • Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Based in New York City or willing to relocate
