As a Creative Development Assistant, for The Edge you will play a key role in shaping compelling film proposals, brainstorming fresh ideas, and helping to bring creative visions to life. Working closely with our talented creatives and the sales and marketing team, you’ll contribute to winning exciting projects while enjoying a collaborative and inspiring work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in developing film proposals, including designing layouts and beautifying proposals, editing images to illustrate concepts, structuring concepts, and refining creative ideas.
- Conduct research on brands, industries, and visual trends to support proposal development.
- Source images, film references, and mood boards to help visualize creative concepts.
- Maintain and update procurement portal registrations to ensure smooth project submissions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop compelling pitches and presentations.
- Proofread and edit written materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and high-quality standards.
- Attend client briefing meetings, gathering insights to refine creative approaches.
- Work with design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint to enhance visual presentations.
- Embrace AI tools such as Midjourney to create bespoke images and enhance visual designs,
- Support the creative team in brainstorming sessions, contributing innovative ideas for upcoming projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, storytelling techniques, and digital media advancements to enhance creative output.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
· University degree in film, media, communications, marketing, design, or a related field.
· 2+ years of experience in a creative, production, or marketing environment.
· High level of skill in design, layout, photoshop, and image editing techniques
· A keen eye for design, graphics, layouts, and fonts—experience with Midjourney or AI-generated visuals is a plus.
· A passion for film, storytelling, and content creation.
· Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and design tools such as InDesign and Photoshop.
· Interest in social media, advertising, and digital trends to inform creative proposals.
· Ability to brainstorm and develop fresh, compelling ideas for film proposals.
· Strong organizational and research skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Fluency in English (written and verbal) Arabic would be a plus
· Can work remotely.
· A driving license is a plus.
