Freelance Creative Content Coordinator/Intern

Location: Remote

Job Description

10and5 Creative is a growing creative agency dedicated to delivering high-impact visual storytelling and strategic brand growth for our hospitality clients. We are looking for a versatile, detail-oriented freelancer to join our creative roster and help us execute end-to-end campaigns.

Role Overview

We are looking for a systematic, detail-oriented Content Coordinator to own the execution phase of our creative process. This is a part-time/freelance role (approx. 15-20 hours per week) designed for an up-and-coming professional or current student who excels at organization and digital workflows. While the senior team drives the strategy, you will be the "closer"—ensuring every piece of creative is sized correctly, uploaded to the right systems, and scheduled on time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Social Media Content: Design and write engaging posts (static, carousels, and video assets) across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Asset Sizing & Optimization: Take master creative files and resize/reformat them for specific platform requirements (e.g., turning a 4k video into a 9:16 Reel, or cropping a hero image for a LinkedIn carousel).
  • Social Scheduling: Manage the "go-live" process by scheduling posts across all social platforms via our management tools.
  • Social Calendar Planning: Collaborate with the team on monthly content calendars and build and size assets to get ready for client approval.
  • Email Marketing: Take the lead on uploading finalized creative into our GMS (Global Management System)
  • Quality Control: Perform a final "tech check" on all assets (checking for formatting glitches, correct aspect ratios, and link functionality) before they reach the client or the public.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field—OR—equivalent hands-on experience (e.g., managing your own brand/channels, boot camps, or personal projects).
  • Experience Level: This is an entry-level/early-career position. We don’t need years of agency experience; we need someone who is digitally native and learns new software in minutes.
  • Portfolio: A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both graphic design and copywriting.
  • Technical Comfort: You have a basic grasp of design and editing tools (like Canva, Adobe Express, or Photoshop) specifically for resizing and exporting assets. Experience with CMS or GMS platforms (or a proven ability to learn new software quickly).
  • Process-Driven: You love a checklist. You find satisfaction in moving a project from "In Progress" to "Published."
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to not just "make things look pretty," but to understand the goal behind a campaign or post.
  • Communication: Sharp copywriting skills with an eye for grammar, tone of voice, and brand personality.
  • Reliability: Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a remote environment. You understand that "the small stuff" (like a broken link or a blurry crop) is actually the big stuff.
  • Platform Fluent: You know the difference between a Story, a Reel, and a Feed post—and exactly what dimensions each one requires.

Why This Role?

  • Flexible Schedule: Perfect for students or freelancers looking to anchor their week with consistent hours.
  • Mentorship: You’ll see exactly how a creative agency operates from the inside out.
  • Growth: While this starts as execution, there is plenty of room to learn the strategic side of the business as you master the workflow.
