My client, a global organisation currently have a requirement for a commercially driven Country Sales Manager to lead and develop our national sales operations within the veterinary sector. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on building strong customer relationships, enjoys being hands-on in the field, and brings both leadership experience and a genuine passion for sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed performance targets.
- Execute national sales plans in alignment with broader commercial strategy.
- Identify growth opportunities within the veterinary market and act decisively to convert them into long-term partnerships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with veterinary professionals, distributors, and key accounts.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and market alignment.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales approaches.
- Contribute to planning and strategy discussions, while focusing on effective delivery and execution.
Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of sales experience within the veterinary or animal health sector.
- Proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams.
- Strong commercial instinct with a proactive, opportunity-focused mindset.
- A natural relationship builder who values long-term partnerships over transactional selling.
- Comfortable operating within an established strategy, with a focus on execution rather than ownership of overall direction.
- Driven, energetic, and motivated by achieving results, with a genuine enthusiasm for sales.
- Approachable and professional communication style, well-suited to working with veterinary customers.
- Fluency in Dutch and English language skills
