The Branch Team is responsible for making sure the branch is fully compliant with local and European regulations, and offering the best products and service to our customers. The team works alongside a range of departments within Revolut Bank and Revolut Group.
We're looking for a Country Manager to help us solve the toughest problems in our global fintech. Someone to roll up their sleeves and lead this team and all Revolut Bank’s branch activities in Sweden.

What You'll Be Doing
- Developing and orchestrating an actionable, data-backed, cross-functional country strategy to win in the Swedish market and become a relevant banking player locally
- Being a trusted partner to the RBUAB
- Managing all aspects of the Swedish market, including local product needs and business development opportunities
- Supervising local branch compliance and AML/CTF professionals
- Collaborating with product teams in order to expand existing new features and products while incorporating specific local considerations
- Identifying key product, operational, licensing, and growth opportunities for Revolut
- Building critical vendor relationships and performance tracking systems
- Executing scale operations and working with cross-functional teams across the Bank, from Operations to Finance, Legal and Compliance, Marketing and Communications
- Supervising day-to-day branch activities
- Legally representing and signing any documents on behalf of the branch in front of regulators, authorities, natural persons, and legal entities
- Overseeing the Sweden branch team, setting relevant KPIs in line with branch and Revolut objectives
- At least a 2:1 STEM, finance, economics, or business degree from a top university
- 7+ years of experience working within a fintech, traditional bank, financial institution, or consulting firm
- Fluency in English and Swedish
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing a team
- Familiarity with Sweden and EU laws and other legal acts regulating the activities of the bank, including local regulatory guidelines and positions
- Experience managing risk, compliance, and outsourcing operations
- A solid track record of taking ownership and leading complex projects end to end
- An entrepreneurial spirit with customer, product, and business-oriented thinking
- A solid understanding of the business case behind retail banking, as well as the competitive landscape in the market
- A track record of building and growing a business, and delivering high-impact projects successfully
- A hands-on mentality with a natural aptitude to manage competing priorities
- Experience setting up a branch entity in Sweden
- Natural curiosity and a willingness to make an impact
